Last year we made a traditional Greek donut as part of our Donut Design Contest! We enjoyed it so much we decided to make a very similar one again this year!
This light, fluffy yeast ring donut is topped with cinnamon glaze, chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey. And yes, it tastes just like a piece of baklava, minus the filo dough!
